Over the last few months I've done work with several businesses, and they each say the same thing: "Obama's regulations are killing us".
They have new regulations hitting them all the time and it's forcing them to change the way they function. They need to increase their workforce to comply with new regulations to be able to get it done in the same about of time as it did before, but they can't because the demand isn't there to raise the cost of their product because the economy is so bad...so their workers are being stretched too thin. The regulations are killing them, and they've had good employees quit because it's gotten too stressful and difficult to keep up. Now they're in worse shape.
Small business runs this country. I work for a small business and I do 90% of my work for small businesses. We are being hit over the head with a baseball bat by Obama's policies. As an employer, it's hard to imagine anything more discouraging than Obama's attitude towards businesses.
Deregulation will allow for businesses to get back on track and not have to jump through hoops just to function. What's more, the amount of governmental overhead generated from these regulators is doing nothing more than throwing money down a rat hole.
Obama's main goal is to paint conservatives in a bad light, making people think we don't care for the poor. He points to business owners as wanting Republicans in office so they can get richer, but really they want Republicans in office so they can run their business without one hand tied behind their back.
Between the regulations, hefty taxes, increased insurance rates due to more OSHA and unnecessary restrictions, and the uncertainly Obamacare brings when it is fully implemented there is no room to expand a company.
Deregulation and tax cuts for small business will ignite the economy. Businesses will be able to operate more efficiently, and hire more people. There are jobs to be had out there, but Obama's barricades prevent businesses from growing and creating their own jobs. Instead, he'd rather create them through the government.
Private sector or government? Do we want the jobs in this country handed to us by the government, or should we do like we always have and thrive on capitalism and private business?
The choice is clear. Mitt Romney should be our next president.
